Black Valley Farm going out to bookshops today

News

In the lead up to the publication of a book, it’s common for a publisher to produce early copies to share with publishers and reviewers. These books, often called ‘proofs’ or ARCs (advance review copies), are very important.

Reviewers receive ARCs so that they have time to read the book and review it in time for publication date. Likewise, publishers like to read a book before deciding whether or not to stock in when the book comes out.

Today, the proofs of Black Valley Farm are being sent by my lovely publisher, Canelo, and I wanted to share them because they look so gorgeous!
